HT. Health & Safety Awareness Training (CPC-THSA)

Description

This Health & Safety Awareness Training is aimed at professional drivers and is designed to promote understanding of health and safety within their workplace.

This engaging and interactive course features a variety of appropriate situations that focus on actions, beliefs and consequences to engage and raise awareness, thus reducing the risk of incident.

Duration

7 hours. Excluding breaks. 

What does the course cover?

• Legislation

• General hazards

• Manual handling

• Vehicle checks – including defect reporting

• Wheel security Emergency procedures

• Reversing and close-quarter manoeuvring

• Vulnerable road users (VRUs).

Who can attend?

This Health and Safety course is available to anyone with a vocational licence who is required and eligible to complete CPC periodic training.
Other members of any logistics or waste frontline operational team can also sit this course to gain a better understanding of the workplace environment that their drivers operate within. Please just notify the CMS Trainer that you do not require the CPC hours.
