Installation Engineer

CMS SupaTrak is looking to recruit an experienced Installation Engineer to join the dedicated and busy team. The primary function of this role is to install and test in-vehicle telematics systems. In addition to this, the successful candidate will be required to attend service calls and perform maintenance and remedial works and upgrades where necessary.

As well as standard vehicle tracking installations, the successful candidate will be expected to perform CANbus installations, often with additional requirements, such as sensors and in cab display systems.

We operate a national service and therefore nationwide travel will be required. However, the primary locations for this role will be North London, Herts, Beds, Bucks and Oxon. Due to the travel required, occasional weekend, early morning and late evening work will be necessary.

The successful candidate will have an outgoing and dedicated approach and a strong work ethic. CMS SupaTrak operates at a fast pace and we are looking for adaptable and reliable engineers to join our team who will work efficiently and effectively, even when under pressure to meet deadlines.

The successful candidate will be provided with a vehicle, fuel card, mobile phone, laptop, mobile broadband and hotel accommodation, where required.

Required Experience:

Proven track record of vehicle installations is essential.

Desirable Experience:

Previous experience of vehicle telematics, including CANbus and FMS would be advantageous.
