Dave Fegent, owner of the company explains that "at the touch of a button, the panic alarm is activated and I can see exactly where in Europe the vehicle is located. I can then make the necessary arrangements to assist the customer with whatever help they require."
This technology can be very helpful in breakdown situations, where the driver of the motorhome is unfamiliar with their surroundings and is unsure of their precise location. "It gives the customers an extra sense of security" says Dave.
"They are safe in the knowledge that no matter where they are, they can be found and help is at hand." Dave also explains that SupaTrak has helped him to manage his fleet of vehicles using the ring-fencing function. "If a customer has specified that they will only be travelling throughout the UK, I can set ring fences on the SupaTrak system that will send me an automatic alert if the vehicle deviates.
For example, if a vehicle is at Dover ferry port, I would be made aware of this situation and I could then make the necessary arrangements to halt the vehicle." Dave was particularly impressed by the quality of the installations commenting that "the installation of the panic switches is so well done that it looks like they have been factory fitted".
He was also impressed by the professionalism of the engineers and the sales staff with whom he dealt, saying that "the engineers are marvellous and their work is very tidy. I have also found the sales staff to be very helpful. They were open and honest from the start and spoke the same language as me".
The SupaTrak vehicle tracking system provides 60 second pings as standard and the option of European mapping.
